Its been storming for the last couple days. I'm cold! in Africa. Today I walked out the front door and saw the most amazing rainbow across the stormy sky. I ran and got all the kids to see. One of them said, "there is a smile in the sky."

I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Rhetoric and Professional Writing. (In my third year, I'd still tell you something different everytime you'd ask what that really means.) I love my family and my friends. I love reading and writing. (That's why I have a blog.) I love people with dreams, and I like dreaming with them. I want to feel like I'm moving forward, always. I love music (especially while I'm walking places), and silence too. I hope to always learn from my mistakes. And if you asked me to come and sit for hours in a small coffee shop and listen to people with great thoughts, I'd be there. I laugh a lot, and I cry when I need to. I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years, but in fifteen years if I live in an old house in the country with a cultural-caravan of adopted children, I won't complain. I like sleeping in. I like letters, downtown shops, farms, old houses, dresses, real (big) dogs, photographs, stories, art, beaches, and blue. Welcome to my blog, or some random thoughts.
