I went to Alberta for a week. It was tons of fun. I got to visit my "Vermeer" side of the family, stayed at my Opa and Oma's and played Yahtzee, climbed a mountain, held a baby lion and tiger, failed at wake-boarding and went jetskiing

I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Rhetoric and Professional Writing. (In my third year, I'd still tell you something different everytime you'd ask what that really means.) I love my family and my friends. I love reading and writing. (That's why I have a blog.) I love people with dreams, and I like dreaming with them. I want to feel like I'm moving forward, always. I love music (especially while I'm walking places), and silence too. I hope to always learn from my mistakes. And if you asked me to come and sit for hours in a small coffee shop and listen to people with great thoughts, I'd be there. I laugh a lot, and I cry when I need to. I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years, but in fifteen years if I live in an old house in the country with a cultural-caravan of adopted children, I won't complain. I like sleeping in. I like letters, downtown shops, farms, old houses, dresses, real (big) dogs, photographs, stories, art, beaches, and blue. Welcome to my blog, or some random thoughts.

failed at wakeboarding, perhaps...but you were amazing on the jetski...just took off at full speed! I'm glad you were able to make it down to good ol' Eddy. By the way lady's and gent's, this girl know how to bowl...so pro! :)

Oh Lydia! I forgot about when Andrew did that! That's really funny. Actually, we were at the Guzoo in Three Hills. Its actually more like a farm than a zoo, and voted "worst zoo in Canada", but its run by this sweet little old man, so you just can't help but love it.
