About Me
- Name: Maria Elyse
I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Rhetoric and Professional Writing. (In my third year, I'd still tell you something different everytime you'd ask what that really means.) I love my family and my friends. I love reading and writing. (That's why I have a blog.) I love people with dreams, and I like dreaming with them. I want to feel like I'm moving forward, always. I love music (especially while I'm walking places), and silence too. I hope to always learn from my mistakes. And if you asked me to come and sit for hours in a small coffee shop and listen to people with great thoughts, I'd be there. I laugh a lot, and I cry when I need to. I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years, but in fifteen years if I live in an old house in the country with a cultural-caravan of adopted children, I won't complain. I like sleeping in. I like letters, downtown shops, farms, old houses, dresses, real (big) dogs, photographs, stories, art, beaches, and blue. Welcome to my blog, or some random thoughts.

hey, i've been meaning to tell you that your musical relatives are coming to Regent in a week or so...
hopefully life will grant me the opportunity to take the evening off and go see them...

I hope so! This time of year they are ussually going to Calvin College in Grand Rapids too where I go and see them, but not this year...so you'll have to enjoy them for me. :)

They are coming to Hope College in Holland. That's only about a half hour west of GR. You are welcome to come and go with us and spend the night! :)

I noticed that! but its still a five hour drive from Waterloo, and in the middle of exams! It's a real tragedy.
