I'm dying to write a blog about women in the church.
I sat at the restaurant when it was slow and filled a whole napkin full of thoughts. (Unfolded and both sides.)
Unfortunately my research paper on British Print in 1638 is quite neglected, and I must put aside all distractions (besides working 17 hours this weekend!) until that is finished.
But, just so you know...it's coming!

I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Rhetoric and Professional Writing. (In my third year, I'd still tell you something different everytime you'd ask what that really means.) I love my family and my friends. I love reading and writing. (That's why I have a blog.) I love people with dreams, and I like dreaming with them. I want to feel like I'm moving forward, always. I love music (especially while I'm walking places), and silence too. I hope to always learn from my mistakes. And if you asked me to come and sit for hours in a small coffee shop and listen to people with great thoughts, I'd be there. I laugh a lot, and I cry when I need to. I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years, but in fifteen years if I live in an old house in the country with a cultural-caravan of adopted children, I won't complain. I like sleeping in. I like letters, downtown shops, farms, old houses, dresses, real (big) dogs, photographs, stories, art, beaches, and blue. Welcome to my blog, or some random thoughts.

i've been really interested in the subject after one of regent's faculty who is a christian feminist gave a lecture on the subject in one of my classes last semester. i bought a book of essays by regent faculty on the subject as well...
so please do share your thoughts!

now this am i looking forward to, i was challenged a bit ago to engage in the conversation about women in church a bit ago when i sarcasticlly mocked someone who didn't see it the same way I do saying i couldn't believe people still thought that way...to me it just seems like common sense, but i guess its not always like that...needless to say...i'm looking forward to your post.
