About Me
- Name: Maria Elyse
I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Rhetoric and Professional Writing. (In my third year, I'd still tell you something different everytime you'd ask what that really means.) I love my family and my friends. I love reading and writing. (That's why I have a blog.) I love people with dreams, and I like dreaming with them. I want to feel like I'm moving forward, always. I love music (especially while I'm walking places), and silence too. I hope to always learn from my mistakes. And if you asked me to come and sit for hours in a small coffee shop and listen to people with great thoughts, I'd be there. I laugh a lot, and I cry when I need to. I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years, but in fifteen years if I live in an old house in the country with a cultural-caravan of adopted children, I won't complain. I like sleeping in. I like letters, downtown shops, farms, old houses, dresses, real (big) dogs, photographs, stories, art, beaches, and blue. Welcome to my blog, or some random thoughts.

Just so no one thinks that we forced Betsy to sit by the crazy eyed Bunny...she was actually very excited about the Bunny and had been playing with some kind of feather boa thing before the picture so that's why her hair is all static-y. Unfortunately, the picture captured the exact moment when she started getting tired and ready to go home! :)

I know...we crack up every time we see it!
And why is it that adults think that children will love huge costumed characters with lifeless eyes that only communicate with hand gestures? Hmmm... ;)
